The Biomechanics for Sports Medicine module utilises a cross-section of journal articles on sport and clinical biomechanics to illustrate key mechanical principles that can be applied to the sports physicians practice. In addition to these journal readings and associated commentary, pre-recorded audio-visual presentations supplement these learnings with tutorials on bike setup, running technique and the fundamental biomechanical method of inverse dynamics. Combined, the resources and learning road map provided aim to enhance the physicians understanding of biomechanics applied to many of the most commonly played sports in Australia.
