The Medical Care of a Large Event Module is a comprehensive module covering all a medical practitioner needs to know when providing medical coverage to a large endurance event.
The module focus is mainly on longer distance events from 1 hour up to multiday events, and examines the resources needed to organise and run an effective and safe medical plan. The possible medical and musculoskeletal conditions that the medical team must be prepared to treat is also discussed.
